The Rev. Jesse Swank was born in Quincy, Ohio, July 12, 1867. In 1890 he was ordained in the Central Ohio Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church. His pastorates included the following: Gettysburg, Zanesville, West Liberty, Napoleon, Bellfontaine, Van Wert, Springfield, and Marion, Ohio where he officated at the funerals of both President and Mrs. Warren G.
